Why We Want You To Be Rich by Donald J Trump & Robert T Kiyosaky.
Since I was having a little bit more time to myself as my wife's condition is improving, I went to our book shelve and pull a book to read. This is a hardcover book with golden words written on it's side. The words Why We Want You To Be Rich attracted me. Rich itself is already attractive. Why we want you to be rich, my initial thinking was who are these 2 idiots, wanting to teach others to be rich. Robert Kiyosaki, this name I am very firmilar with, Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Donald Trump, well not too firmiliar, a very rich guy.
After reading it for a couple of days, I realized that I had read this book before, maybe about 5 years ago. I couldn't grasp much then as I was too busy doing my other project. Reading the same book 5 years latter, and after going through a rough patch of my life, almost losing my love, I find the contents of the book very meaningful. Also this book was given as a courtesy from Joseph.
The Introduction actally starts off by telling us Why They Want Us To Be Rich.
"We want you to be rich so that you can be part of the solution ... rather than part of the problem" A very noble cause. After reading a bit more, it catch on and I'm commited to finishing this book. Their education is Financial Education and now what our school teach us.
I fall into what they list as Baby Boomers, conditioned to study hard (which I did not), get a good job, work hard, save up, which according to the book is on the wrong track. So have to start increasing my financial IQ.
Managed to read up quite a lot, during the time while I was on a short visit to the farm as there were nothing much to do at night when the main fiber optic was damaged due to an accident. This last for about 5 days. No internet connection.
Finished the book and realized that I had been doing all the wrong things. Found the content useful, but the problem now is how to remember and practice it. Recommend to read a couple of times.
Since I'm at this, started on another book Instant Wealth - Wake Up Rich by Christopher Howard. At this rate, I should strike it rich and wealthy one day. Just a matter of conditioning my mindset. Wish me luck.
